Clare Mulley is the award-winning author of The Spy Who Loved: The Secrets and Lives of Christine Granville, a biography of Britain's first female special agent of the Second World War. The book attracted an abundance of excellent reviews, has been optioned as a film by Universal Studios, and saw her receiving Poland's national Bene Merito honour in 2014.
A passionate public speaker, Clare is an expert on the female agents of the SOE, and frequently lectures on the subject in universities, museums and festivals. She has made several television and radio appearances, including BBC Radio 4's Women's Hour and programmes for The History Channel.
