Writer Nick Farrell spent nine years as a journalist for The Telegraph before joining the team at The Spectator. His famous interview with Silvio Berlusconi extracted controversial statements from the then Italian prime minister which provoked widespread criticism in the politician's home country.
Now living in Italy himself, Nick writes for the popular newspaper, Librero, and continues his work as a Spectator columnist. An expert on all things Italian, Nick has been writing newspaper columns about the Mafia for many years. His extensive biography of Benito Mussolini, Mussolini: A New Life, was published in 2003.
